What do we wear/bring to class?

Athletes should wear a gymnastics leotard/singlet or form fitting athletic wear. All long hair must be tied back (girls AND boys).

We ask for no socks, skirts/tutu's, dresses, sports bras, belly tops, hoodies, baggy clothing or jewellery for the safety of all participants.

Bring a refillable water bottle or you can use our water fountain. Water is the only drink permitted on the gym floor.

No snacks, food, or gum can be brought onto the gym floor but are fine to eat in the lobby. We are a nut free facility!

Can I stay and watch?

Yes You Can! 

Gymfinity is one of few Facilities that offers a spacious parent viewing area.

A few rules we ask you to follow while spectating include:

  • Be considerate that classes are in session - keep noise to a minimum

  • No talking to or instructing children while in class - this is distracting and takes away from the coach's instruction

  • Parent's are responsible for children while in lobby - please no running around , or playing on the bleachers

  • Crying, screaming or misbehaving children in the lobby may be asked to leave if they are causing a distraction to the classes in session.

Refund/Cancellation Policies

Gymnastics Ontario insurance fee is non-refundable. This fee is paid directly to GO and we are not able to receive a refund on your behalf after it has been paid.

There will be no refunds after the start of the first class

If you wish to withdraw after the start date - can offer a credit for the remaining classes to be used for future classes

  • We do not offer refunds for athletes who are registered in the wrong age/skill level class. Kinder Gym (Tiny Gymmies, Little Gymmies, Gymmies and Kinder Ninja are expected to participate independently. It is your responsibility as an account holder to assure you register them in an appropriate program.

  • Hands on & bullying is not tolerated in our facility.  This will result in participants being asked to have a parent/aid supervise them on the floor and if the behaviour does not end - be removed from the class with out refund.

 Refunds will only be given as a result of injury with a doctor's note

Social Media &
Photography Policies

Photography Policy

  • Photography/video taping is permitted in the facility - we know everyone wants to document their athletes progress!

  • We ask that you are only taking these photos/videos of your own children

  • Parents are not permitted onto the floor to photograph/video their children unless personally invited by a coach or office staff

Social Media Policies

  • On occasion our staff may photograph/video particiapnts and to post to our social media pages. If your child is photographed and you would like it removed from our page, no problem! We are happy to take it down.

Addressing Concerns

Any concerns you have regarding our programs, staff or facility we ask that you address these concerns to us directly via email, phone call or in person. Please do not post negative comments on our social media posts or google reviews. This negatively affects our small business and does not help us proactively address feedback

Competitive Team Try Outs

  • We host competitive team tryouts in May & June to the upcoming season ( starting the following summer/fall)

  • The try out is usually an hour long where our head coach will look for general fitness, strength, flexibility basic gymnastics skills and most importantly : listening skills & coach-ability!

  • Our competitive team is a 10 month commitment of September - June. (possible practice requirements in the summer months depending on program)

  • The Gymfinity Competitive Team is a well respected program in Gymnastics Ontario. We hold our competitive team athletes and their families to high expectations in terms of attendance, communication, work ethic and coach/teammate/staff respect
